Dr. Burak AKSU graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000. Same year, he started his post graduate training at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2001, he was appointed as a lecturer to the Department of Orthodontics. He participated in many local and foreign congresses and lectures.

Burak AKSU received the title of Doctor of Science (PhD) in Orthodontics with his doctoral thesis titled In Vitro Investigation of the Effects of Different Bracket-Composite Base Connection Methods on Lingual Bracket Retention.

Dr. Dt. Burak AKSU left his duty at Istanbul University in 2006 and took part in the establishment of the first multidisciplinary Orthodontic Clinic, Capa Orthodontic Clinic, and is still working in this institution. Later in years, he also established a branch in Asian side of Atasehir, Istanbul, Turkey (Burak Aksu Orthodontics).

In his clinic, where all treatments in the field of dentistry are applied with a multidisciplinary approach in accordance with the requirements of the age, all restorative, prosthetic and implant treatments, especially orthodontics and orthognathic surgery are performed.

Dr. Dt. Burak AKSU is a member of professional organizations such as Turkish Orthodontic Society, TDB, AOD.
