Dr. Irem Sakarya Aksu was born in 1977 in Ankara. She graduated from Eskisehir Anatolian High School in 1995 and from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2000. Dr. Irem Sakarya Aksu completed her Orthodontic residency training at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics between 2003-2008 with her thesis titled THE SURFACE PROPERTIES AND EFFECTS OF THE NICKEL-TITANIUM BASED WIRES OF TOPICAL FLUORIDE USED FOR PROPHYLATIC PURPOSES AND ITS EFFECTS ON FRICTION FORCES. She received the title of Doctor of Science in Orthodontics. (PhD) Dr. Irem Sakarya Aksu is married and has two children. She is a member of Turkish Orthodontic Society (TOD) and Eskisehir College and Anatolian High School Alumni Association (EAL).
